Job Description:

STDev has an opening for a Mid-Senior Sales Manager. The role requires significant
interaction with clients, which may be face-to- face or over the telephone. It also requires
to have the patience and the ability to interpret technical language for non-technical
people.

Job Responsibilities:

-understand customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs;

-ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features   of employers' systems and processes and then document them;

-cold-call in order to create interest in products and services, generate new business leads and arrange meetings;

-prepare and deliver customer presentations and demonstrations of the software;

-develop effective sales plans using sales methodology;

-provide technical advice to customers on all aspects of the use of products, both before and after the sale;

-promote a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and attending industry events;

-maintain awareness of constantly changing software systems;

-maintain links with existing customers in order to promote additional products and upgrades;

-manage workload in order to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals;

-contribute to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.

-a good level of technical understanding with enthusiasm for new technology and its commercial uses;

Additional Notes:
This area of work is open to all graduates, but a degree or diploma in one of the following subjects may be particularly useful: business information systems/technology, business management, computer science/software engineering/computer engineering, mathematics, physics. Any sales experience may therefore be helpful, including working in a call center or telemarketing role, where sales skills and the ability to meet targets are illustrated.
